Whimsy Kennel is now taking outside dogs for breed ring preparation and presentation. The evolution of a show dog starts long before your dog ever enters the ring with proper training, diet and coat preparation. Our services are geared toward the smaller and mid-sized breeds with the ability to give special attention to the longer, coated breeds as well as stripping and rolling the terrier coat.

Our facility has secure indoor kennel accommodations as well as private outdoor runs with double security barriers for entry. Our new grooming center offers climate controlled accommodations for the coated breeds that need to refrain from going out doors.

View our show calendar for the upcoming months for the most current information regarding our schedule. If you do not see your required dates on our calendar, still contact us as we may be able to accommodate your preferred show. Priority will be given to our full time clients. We will accept a limited number of “day of” grooming as well as those needing ring side assistance. For any “day of” or “ring side pickups”, please contact us in advance to assure our availability at the show you require our services so we may staff accordingly.  We travel to shows in the Pacific Northwest, Southwest, California, Nevada, and Mountain states but are not limited to these geographical locations. National specialties and regional specialties are always given priority over all-breed shows.

At Whimsy we realize the cost and commitment required for maintaining a dog on the show circuit and we are doing our part to keep expenses low and affordable for our clients. Contact us for our rates; we think you will find them simple and cost effective. We look forward to discussing a plan with you for your next champion.
